(A) Team rankings within
the Competition will be decided by points with three points
to be awarded for a win and one point for a drawn match. The
teams gaining the highest number of points in their
respective Divisions at the conclusion shall be adjudged the
winners. Matches must not be played for double points. In
Mini Soccer points can only be awarded for Under 9
Competitions onwards.
In the event of two or more teams being equal on points team
rankings may be decided by (i) the results between the teams
involved in the tie, and if still level,
(ii) overall goal difference will decide. If teams are still
level, (iii) the number of goals scored will decide, and if
teams are still level, (iv) play-off matches will be played
under conditions determined by the Management Committee.
(B) There may be promotion and/or relegation from one
division to another dependent on the constitution as decided
at the Annual General Meeting.
(C) In the event of a team not completing 75% of its
fixtures for the season all points obtained by or recorded
against such defaulting team shall be expunged from the
Competition table.
