So we reach the last game of the season, and what a season for Bury it's been, and this game was a fitting reminder of how far Bury have come. The two teams are very similar in ability as proved by their league positions, Stow being 1 point ahead of Bury so everything to play for. The first half provided thrilling end to end football, at times only desperate goal line defending and superb goal keeping from both teams keeping the score line at 0-0 at the break.

The second half proved the same Stow hitting the post, Bury just shooting wide nothing to separate the teams, quality defending, brilliant counter strikes but no goal and that's how it ended an honest result for a superb season finale, well done to both teams.
