IMPORTANT NEW
DEVELOPMENT; After recent discussions with the management
committees of both leagues, they have both welcomed an
initiative to merge the leagues into one 'SUFFOLK WOMEN'S AND
GIRLS LEAGUE'.
There is also an
opportunity for the 'new' league to have 2 representatives on
the Suffolk County FA Council.
So the process will be
that both leagues will attend separate AGM's on the 26th June -
one after the other - at which agreement of the clubs to accept
this merge will be taken, and the individual leagues will be
folded, with residual assets taken to the new league. The an
inaugral meeting of the new league will follow - which will set
up the League and agree a constitution for next
season.
